Privacy notice · draft

Privacy, stated plainly.

This draft notice describes the current site, its optional email signup and external links. It is not professionally vetted legal advice and requires operator review before publication.

Who is responsible

The legal identity, address and jurisdiction of the site operator are still being finalised and must be confirmed in the imprint at /imprint. Dr. Christoph Lymbersky, based in Spain, EU, is the editor of The Jet Broker and the person who decides what is done with newsletter subscriber addresses. This identifies his responsibility for the newsletter; it does not replace the outstanding legal operator particulars.

Reading this website

There is no account or booking form. The site itself sets no analytics or marketing cookies. The optional email signup at the end of each article is described below. Hosting providers may process technical request information such as IP addresses, timestamps and browser details to deliver and secure the website.

The hosting arrangements, retention periods, legal bases and any international transfer safeguards require review by the confirmed operator. This notice does not claim that infrastructure-level logs or cookies have been independently audited. Google Fonts are requested externally; Google receives technical information associated with those requests.

The Broker’s Notes by email

The optional “Receive The Broker’s Notes” form collects only the email address you type into it, the page path of the article on which you signed up, and a signup timestamp. We record when you signed up and, where applicable, when you confirmed or unsubscribed. Double opt-in applies: after signing up you receive an email with a confirmation link, and we send newsletters only after you confirm. We store a confirmation timestamp and a unique token per subscriber (used for the confirmation and unsubscribe links). To limit abuse through rate-limiting, we store a hashed form of your IP address, not the raw IP address.

Your address is used only to send The Broker’s Notes—editorial perspectives on private aviation—and closely related service messages about your subscription. It is not sold or shared for third-party marketing.

The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. Signing up is voluntary. You can withdraw consent at any time, with effect for the future, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

The website’s hosting and database providers, Lovable and its managed backend, store your address and signup information. When newsletters are sent, an email delivery service will also process your address. Emails are delivered via Resend (a transactional email provider), which processes your email address on our behalf; Resend may process data outside the EU/EEA under standard contractual clauses where applicable. Processing by these providers may involve transfers outside the EU/EEA, protected by safeguards such as standard contractual clauses where applicable. The relevant arrangements and safeguards require operator review; no specific certification is claimed.

Your address is stored until you unsubscribe or ask for deletion. After unsubscribing, we keep only the minimum needed, such as a suppression record of your address, to ensure you are not emailed again; this is deleted on request where legally possible. Unsubscribed or unconfirmed addresses that are no longer needed are deleted. You can unsubscribe via the link in any email or by email; deletion requests are handled by email.

You can withdraw consent or unsubscribe at any time. Each issue includes a one-click unsubscribe link; you may also unsubscribe by email. Subject to applicable law, you may also request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, object to processing, request data portability, or complain to a supervisory authority. In Spain, this is the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (https://www.aepd.es/); you may also contact the authority in your own country.

For these requests, write via the contact page. The displayed address, charter@thelimitlesssky.com, is the Limitless Sky enquiry address, not a dedicated privacy inbox. Please ask the team to forward your privacy request to Christoph Lymbersky.

Email and external destinations

Email links open your own email application. Enquiries sent to the displayed Limitless Sky address are handled by that recipient, not stored in a contact database on this website. Share only information needed for the initial enquiry.

Links to Limitless Sky, Forbes Councils, Blue Ocean Club, Jet Intelligence and research sources take you to independent websites with their own privacy practices. Opening those sites is subject to their policies.

Your rights and contact

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, data portability and complaints to a supervisory authority. For newsletter processing based on consent, you can withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. The newsletter section above explains how to unsubscribe and identifies the Spanish supervisory authority; you may also contact the authority in your own country.

For privacy requests, use the contact page and ask the Limitless Sky team at charter@thelimitlesssky.com to forward your request to Christoph Lymbersky. This remains an aviation enquiry address, not a dedicated or verified legal service address for this website. The legal operator details in the imprint remain outstanding. This notice is a working draft, not professionally vetted legal advice or a completed compliance document, and requires operator and legal review.
