The life of a jet broker
A jet broker’s desk sits where finance, travel and human judgement meet. This book is about that desk: the enquiries that arrive at odd hours, the journeys that cannot be bought from a list, and the relationships that decide whether a complicated trip simply works.
These are stories from the work itself — too personal, too detailed or too entertaining for the journal. Some are amusing, some are instructive, and all of them show what the polished surface of private aviation conceals: a service built on trust, discretion and quick, sound judgement.
Industry insights, without the brochure
Alongside the stories, the book explains how the industry really works. What a charter quotation contains beyond the first line. Where the money goes on every flight. How operators, brokers and jet cards compete for the same traveller, and why the cheapest option is rarely the one it appears to be.
Readers of Broker’s Notes will recognise the themes — pricing, taxes, incentives and trust — told here at greater length and in greater depth.
How I became the most hunted down jet broker in the world
Christoph’s path to private aviation ran through economics, venture capital and corporate transactions before it reached an aircraft. In the book, he tells that story in his own words: how he came to found Limitless Sky, why he started writing The Jet Broker — and how even the mafia tried to convince him to become their own private jet broker.
The release
The book is in preparation. No release date has been announced yet. When the date is set, it will be published here first — on this page and in Broker’s Notes.
Until then, the journal continues: new notes on the economics of private aviation appear in Broker’s Notes.
