Europe's busiest business aviation airport, by a margin
Paris Le Bourget (LFPB) remained Europe's busiest business aviation airport in 2025, with 45,910 movements, up 0.93% on the year before, according to Avi-Go's 2025 annual report (https://avi-go.com/report-store/report/view/RD200). The same report credits it with connections to 1,000 unique destination cities in 2025, the highest network coverage score in Europe.
Groupe ADP, which operates the airport, describes Le Bourget as Europe's leading business aviation airport, set on 553 hectares some 7 km north of Paris, with three runways and the ability to accept all aircraft types, including widebodies (https://mediacenter.groupe-adp.com/en/LBG).
What the summer of 2026 showed
Seasonality at Le Bourget is pronounced. Avi-Go's June 2026 data (https://avi-go.com/research-consulting) shows LFPB leading European airports with 5,648 movements in June 2026, up 38.70% from 4,072 in May. It also ranked first in Europe for unique origin-city coverage that month, with 501 cities.
The most heavily travelled corridor ran south. LFPB to and from Nice Côte d'Azur (LFMN) was Europe's top bidirectional airport corridor in June 2026, with 429 combined flights. Le Bourget was also the number one origin into Geneva (123 flights) and Nice (223 flights) that month.
For a client, the practical reading is simple: in early summer, Paris is competing with the Riviera, Geneva and London for the same aircraft, and the good positions are committed early.
London to Paris, still the classic pair
London ↔ Paris was Europe's busiest business aviation city pair in 2025, with 4,384 flights, according to Avi-Go. In June 2026, the Farnborough (EGLF) to Le Bourget corridor alone logged 225 combined flights. On a sector this short, the hourly rate matters less than daily minimums, positioning and handling, which is where the all-in comparison earns its keep.
Choosing the FBO
Le Bourget's handling market is unusually deep. Groupe ADP's own airport brochure lists seven FBOs operating there (https://www.parisaeroport.fr/docs/default-source/professionnel-fichiers/service-aux-entreprises/le-bourget/brochure-lbg-2019.pdf), and the line-up has since consolidated: Jet Aviation acquired the former Astonsky operation in August 2025. In charter, the operator usually chooses the FBO according to its contracts, but a preference is worth stating at the time of booking rather than on the morning of departure.
The cost layer that is easy to overlook
Since March 2025, France's solidarity tax on airline tickets has applied to business jet passengers at €420 per passenger on flights within Europe and up to €2,100 on long-haul departures (Service-Public.fr). On a full cabin, that is a material line on the invoice, and it should sit inside any quote you compare.
The Broker's Note
Le Bourget is efficient precisely because it is so practised. The surprises tend to come from elsewhere: seasonal peaks that tighten availability, a departure tax that one quote includes and another omits, or an FBO chosen by default rather than by design. Settle those three questions at the outset and Paris becomes one of the simplest arrivals in Europe.
